Montagu Little Sanctuary offers peaceful, adults-only self-catering accommodation on a private 2.5-hectare estate neighbouring Avalon Springs. With mountain and valley views, established gardens and a maximum of 10 guests, it provides a tranquil setting for couples and adults looking to unwind.

Choose from four spacious luxury apartments or the standalone Eagle’s Nest cottage.

Each De lux apartment features a bedroom, lounge and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning and selected DStv channels. A spa bath and steam shower add to the comfort, while furnished patios provide space to relax and enjoy a barbeque braai (Charcoal only).

Eagle’s Nest offers a more compact retreat near the natural swimming pool. It has an open-plan sleeping and seating area, a small kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower. It does not have a spa bath or steam shower. Access involves numerous steps, making it unsuitable for guests who have difficulty with stairs.

Guests share two swimming pools within the estate, along with gardens, stone terraces and scenic walkways. The pools are for estate guests and are not exclusive to individual apartments or the cottage.

The natural pool is filled with underground water and is not chemically treated. Its water is also used to irrigate the gardens, and this pool is unavailable for swimming on garden-watering days.

Bed linen, bath towels and swimming towels are included at no additional charge. Free Wi-Fi and on-site parking are available.
Neighbouring Avalon Springs offers an additional opportunity to relax in the hot springs. Discounted Access is always available to our guests and any complimentary-access offers are subject to the applicable stay dates and conditions.

The bathroom has a shower.up on the mountainside it offers beautiful mountain and valley views. Due to its position, it has numerous steps leading up to the front door.
